All You Need to Know: Delmar Parkway

Welcome to Aurora, Colorado, and its renowned Delmar Parkway! Located in the city’s southeast, Delmar Parkway is one of Aurora’s most vibrant tourist attractions, beloved for its extraordinary natural beauty and great amenities. We invite you to explore all that Delmar Parkway has to offer. Visit this link for more information.

Delmar Parkway is a 6.7-mile tree-lined roadway that was first built in 1964. It runs through several parks and features a wide variety of shops and restaurants and a stunning view of the Rocky Mountains and the Front Range. Its name comes from a combination of the terms of two prominent parks along its course: Del Mar Park and Garden of the Gods Park. The former is a 77-acre expanse of lush meadowland and an artificial lake. At the same time, the latter is Aurora’s most famous park, offering a variety of activities such as rock climbing and a playground. See here for information about Commerce City, Colorado: A City of Unrivaled Opportunities.

You can spend your days strolling along the pathways, cross-country skiing, or biking along one of the many trails at Delmar Parkway. But, of course, you’ll also want to take advantage of the many restaurants and shops along the way. Then, relax in the evening with a movie at the AMC Southlands 16 movie theater or see a show at the Del Mar Amphitheater. And, of course, don’t forget to snap some photos at the iconic Del Mar Vista Overlook or from atop the Del Mar Overlook Tower.
